What to know when scheduling a headshot session

• Allow 30 minutes for a traditional headshot. Adding a ¾ shot will take additional time, probably closer to an hour in total for the session.

• Best to avoid white shirts, stripes, plaids, and short sleeves.

• Bring a comb or brush. Makeup for touchups if needed.

• Medium or darker value tops work best for professional headshots.

• If bringing a change of clothing, it is best to place them on a hanger.

• Final images are usually picked during the session and are later retouched so you look your best.

• We view your images on my computer and you pick your favorite. Sometimes a second opinion may be needed so I’ll give you information on how to view your Gallery online.  Once you pick your favorite image, just email me the number of the thumbnail in your gallery.

• The final edited photo will be posted in a password-protected gallery for you to view in Client Galleries in your private Gallery on my website.

• Consider purchasing a print of the headshot we capture, it would make a great gift to share with your family.
