I'm really proud of the hundreds of animals I photographed as a volunteer for the Humane Society of Jefferson County. During my 15 years as a volunteer, I took thousands of photos of cats and dogs. I hope that my images helped played a part in them getting adopted. Every week I created a poster that was hung around time and shared on Facebook. This Gallery shows some of those posters from over the years. My photos were also used on Petfinder to help potential owners find their perfect pet.
No one may even look at this page but me, but it makes me smile and reminds me of how rewarding it was to interact with so many different cats and dogs. It made me a better Photographer and over the years I brought four dogs homes from the shelter and would have brought more if I had the space.
